Early May Offshore plenty of fish to be caught!
Early May Offshore fishing with Capt. Glen Taylor. He started off by catching Spanish Sardines and Pilchards for the day. He used monofilament because he was tuna fishing. Unfortunately every time he hooked up a tuna the bull sharks would get to it before the tuna made it in the boat. He had a productive day of fishing. The fish bag was full with Kingfish, Amberjack, Yellow tail snapper, and cobia. The warmer water has provided the bay with much needed healthy bait. Soon the Tarpon will be moving in. Hopefully with better numbers than the last year. So far we have only had a hint of Red tide that only washed up a few small bait fish. Winds and stormy weather is expected for the next few days and then its back to beautiful sunshine and as long as the wind dies down the fishing should be good. Good job with the report Capt.
