Fishing was good
Tropical Storm Colin rolled through bringing heavy rain and strong winds. Before all the mayhem fishing was good, Joseph Dephillips has a some nice catches inshore catching Snook trout and redfish. It was also the start of American Red snapper season. Joseph racked up some very nice ARS . Capt. Rafael Rios from the Spanish Sardine 
had good luck snapper fishing in the bay and landed a very impressive “inshore” Hogfish. The tarpon seem to have become picky eaters in the past two weeks. Cast out a variety of bait to improve your chances. Live pass crabs and blue crabs can be found in the outgoing tide. If you can’t get your hands on live bait you could always try artificial crabs. Due to the weather shrimpers were tied down for a few days. Hopefully Marinas will be stocked for the weekend.
